DEREHAM SIXTH FORM COLLEGE OPEN EVENING

There are a wide variety of courses, colleges and pathways out there and it is critical that you make your decisions from as informed a perspective as possible.  With this in mind we hold our Open Evening at Dereham Sixth Form College on a date in November, usually from 5pm - 9pm.

The Sixth Form College at Dereham offers both a wide range of traditional academic A levels and a growing number of vocational options.  All courses are taught by subject specialists with a proven record of success and we are very proud of our track record on results.  Alongside our commitment to academic excellence our aim is to encourage students to develop as individuals gradually becoming independent learners and thoughtful and responsible individuals ready to take on the challenges of life at university and/or in the world of work.  With this in mind we have an active programme of extra curricular opportunities to help students develop a broad range of skills.

The Open Evening is an excellent opportunity for you to find out more about the College, our facilities and the range of subjects we have to offer.  All staff are present at the Open Evening along with a large number of students who happily answer questions on individual subjects and on College life in general.  Our Careers adviser from Connexions, is also available for questions.

A brief presentation about the College and its courses is made on two occasions during the evening.  These presentations take place in the Hall and are made by the Director of the College, Mr Richardson and the Deputy Director, Ms O'Grady.

We very much look forward to meeting you
