STUDENT LIFE IS NOT ALL ACADEMIC:

FIELD TRIPS AND VISITS
Some courses involve students spending time away from the college as part of their studies, such as the biology field trip to the Pyrenees and the Geography field trip to Aberystwyth.  The Media Studies students visited New York in  Spring 2008.   There was an open visit for students to Rome and the Amalfi Coast in July 2008. Subject staff also organise day visits to places such as  the Globe in London, the Houses of Parliament and the chemistry labs at Cambridge University.

Year 13 students celebrate the end of their sixth form studies with a formal dinner at a local venue. This takes place at Hunter's Hall and everyone rises to the occasion - many becoming unrecognisable from their normal student appearance!

CLUBS AND SOCIETIES

There are many and varied enrichment activities that students can take part in at the College.  Some of these take place in the college and some involve trips to other venues.  Students are encouraged to become involved in activities other than their studies and to initiate clubs and societies if they cannot find anything that interests them.  Take a look at what's on offer .........
