The sudden onset of very severe weather can cause very
significant problems for the bus network serving the College. Occasionally
this results in the college being closed when it is impossible, or very
dangerous to travel. In such cases, the College uses the Norfolk County Council emergency closure procedure and messages are broadcast on local radio stations. For updates:
BAD WEATHER DURING THE EXAM PERIOD In the event of bad weather occurring during the January exams the exam timetable CANNOT be changed and exams WILL STILL TAKE PLACE on the dates and at the times set by the exam boards. On days when the weather has been severe enough to disrupt transport, the college may be closed for lessons but WILL BE OPEN for exams. If you have an exam on a day when the college is closed you should make every effort to attend at the normal time i.e 9am for morning exams and 1pm for afternoon exams. If it is really impossible for you to reach the college to sit the exam, please telephone the office as early as you can to let us know.
