On 10th November 16 DSFC Mathematics students took part in the UK Mathematical Challenge, an annual event to challenge students’ problem solving skills. Of those entered 13 gained either bronze, silver or gold awards, an amazing number to get certificates – with Barney Smith getting best in college. The questions always prove challenging with marks being deducted for questions answered incorrectly, in the latter stages. Well done to everyone who took part!
