Drama & Theatre Studies Bridging Work
Choosing Drama as one of my A Level choices has allowed me to meet a new group of people with the same interest as me and create bonds through working so closely together. The subject has given me a huge boost of confidence which I believe is down to all of the support the class has for each other. Many great opportunities have been given to me, such as going to watch shows that I wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t taken the course. One thing I wish I had done earlier in Year 12 was to speak up! Drama is about teamwork and everyone should have an input, whether the idea is used or not – it may spark a new one!” – Jess

A copy of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie (Methuen Drama: Student Editions)
“Drama has been one of my favourite subjects throughout my school years and Drama at Dereham Sixth Form College has increased my love for the subject. I am so glad I chose this subject at A Level because it has taught me so much about different styles of acting through the different practitioners we have studied in Year 12.
