FOR STUDENTS: Norfolk Institute of Performing Arts (NIPA) Free Workshops
NIPA are giving schools and college the opportunity to attend a free 2-hour workshop at their studios in Dereham giving students an opportunity to tour the Institute and explore opportunities in further education in the performing arts. They are providing a Musical Theatre, Drama and Dance workshop followed by a A&A session. These workshops are being held on Tuesday mornings from 9.30 – 11.30 during term time. Aimed at learners aged 11-18 the online insights feature industry professionals talking about
their jobs, what they involve, what it’s like working in their sector, how they got into it and
some advice and tips for young people looking to enter a similar field.

FOR PARENTS: Amazing Apprenticeships – Parent Podcast
“The Parent Perspective” is an exciting podcast series for parents and carers, helping them to support their children with careers advice and guidance. Series 3 is bigger and better than ever, led by a brilliant new host, Rachel Burden. Together with Not Going to Uni, they support parents to feel informed and confident in providing careers support and guidance to their child, so that they ultimately make the best decisions for them.
