Shona & Grace shortlisted in Norfolk Art & Design Competition

Congratulations to Shona and Grace from Year 13 who have both successfully had their work shortlisted in the Norfolk Art & Design Competition, organised by Norwich University of the Arts. The annual competition showcases student work from sixth forms and colleges across the county. We regularly have students whose work is recognised by the competition. In fact, this is the second time that Shona has been shortlisted after her Year 12 work was shortlisted last year along with Beth Payton (who received a Highly Commended award) and Hannah Reid. Since its inception in 2017, we have had eight students shortlisted and between them they have achieved Second, Third and Highly Commended awards. Jack Barker’s photographic work, which he entered in 2021, is currently being used on the Competition’s home page.

You can view Shona and Grace’s work, along with all the other shortlisted work, here.

The Prize winners will be announced in the first week of July, with an accompanying exhibition open to the public from 6th – 8th July between 10am and 3pm at the St George’s Building, Norwich University of the Arts. We hope that as many people as possible can attend this to support our students.
