For nearly fifty years our college has been providing a stimulating and comprehensive education for students in our local community and, increasingly, for students from the wider county and abroad as well. The combination of effective teaching from an experienced group of staff, outstanding pastoral care using a university-style system of individual meetings and a dedicated post-16 site mean that Dereham Sixth Form College (DSFC) continues to be a popular choice for students.

Although our students achieve excellent results, we make sure that the focus is on more than just exams. We are proud of the strong community at Dereham Sixth Form College and the close working relationship between staff and students. We provide comprehensive and individually-tailored careers advice that challenges you to be the best version of yourself, both here and in your life after DSFC. We also have a wide and varied super-curriculum which is run by a combination of staff and students and includes sports, creative arts, social action groups and the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Partnerships, such as with the International Centre for Educational Excellence, link us directly to the international educational research community, thereby offering a further dimension to learning at the College.

We pride ourselves on the care and guidance we provide for everyone who is interested in joining  us, right from the moment you first make contact. As well as attending formal events, such as our Open Evening, you are always welcome to contact us for an informal conversation and tour.
